Definition
A gas law stating that, at constant pressure, the volume of a fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature. As temperature rises, volume increases; as temperature falls, volume decreases. The same relationship applies to pressure when volume is held constant: pressure rises and falls with absolute temperature.
