Definition
A method of evaluation in which the entire group of learners participates in assessing a fellow learner's performance, work, or presentation, guided and moderated by the instructor.
Plain English

Derivation
From Greek 'kritikos' meaning 'able to discern or judge.' A critique is a thoughtful judgment, not just criticism. Pairing it with 'class' simply means the judging is done by the group rather than by one person.
