In the Three-P Model (Perceive, Process, Perform), Process is the second step, in which the pilot evaluates a perceived hazard by considering its impact on the flight, weighing the available options, and deciding on a course of action. It is the thinking and judgment stage that links what the pilot has noticed to what the pilot will actually do.
