Definition
A method of technical drawing in which a three-dimensional object is shown on a flat page by tilting it so that three of its faces are visible at once, with all parallel lines on the object remaining parallel in the drawing. The three principal axes (length, width, and height) are drawn at set angles, and measurements along those axes can be scaled directly from the drawing.
