Definition
In learning theory, intensity is the principle that a vivid, dramatic, or exciting learning experience is more likely to be remembered than a routine or mild one. As applied to flight instruction, it means that real or realistic experiences teach more effectively than passive description, and the stronger the impression made on the student, the more durable the learning.
